For me the blanket is a non negotiable item, home can't be home without it. I don't think I can remember having watched a movie or read a book on the couch without snuggling under the blanket, it's instinctive, even in the height of summer I can't resist it's charms.
However 'he' does not love the blanket, no he moans about it, I actually came back from a few days away recently and it had been demoted to the floor, apparently it was in the way, of what I ask?
I don't know what it is about the blanket but it seems a common theme that many 'he's' out there just can't seem to embrace it. However on this dark, windy December evening an arm reaches out and tries to get some blanket coverage but my rules are clear, if you don't love the blanket you can't share it. Harsh but the blanket deserves respect.
